Sundays At Tiffany's

While waiting for my flight home for winter break, I browsed a bookstore in the airport and came across this book. It's written by James Patterson and I love his books. I read the back and thought it had a cute and interesting storyline, which was so different from his usual murder mysteries. I decided to buy it so I had something to do on the plane. I'm glad I bought it. I really enjoyed reading it.

Extremely brief summary: It's about a girl named Jane who has a 35 year old man named Michael as an imaginary friend. On her ninth birthday he disappears (because that's the rule for imaginary friends). In her early 30's she meets a man that looks just like Michael. Possible soul mates?

The book cover said it was turned into a Lifetime movie. I thought I wanted to see it because I liked the book so much, but reading about the movie online has changed my mind. They changed Jane's name. How do you change the main character's name? They also changed other details that I liked so much in the book. After reading the reviews of others that liked the book, they said the movie was not worth watching and it was disappointing. I'm sad the movie wasn't done right. Oh well. At least I can keep my appreciation for the book without the movie tainting it in any way.

This post may seem a little out dated or over due (seeing as how it's now February), but I remembered this because of something I saw on someone else's blog the other day and I thought I would suggest a short and easy read for anyone who was interested.
