Baby It's Cold Outside

I know Christmas has come and gone, but it seemed like the perfect title for this post. It has been so cold outside lately (getting out of the shower in the morning can BRUTAL) . There have even been some days where the sun has made an appearance, but did nothing to raise the temperature. Although I hate when the sun is pointless like that, it's still nice to have a bright day instead of a cold and dark one. This cold weather has made me add some things to my ever growing wish list of wants that I can't afford list. Refer to this post for my birthday (there are only 223 days left you know) or Christmas (325 days) gift ideas.

While Christmas shopping with Janara over winter break, I saw this little guy and it was love at first sight!

A CUPCAKE BEANIE!! How awesome is that? It would be perfect for Utah weather and would show off my love of cupcakes. I totally would have bought it too, if it weren't for what makes the world go round...money. It was $27 @ Zumiez. I love it, but not that much. Maybe the price will drop a little between now and September.

Another thing that I've wanted for a long time now has been a beret. I mean a real one and not one that looks like an upgraded hairnet. I think most of the crocheted berets are on the uglier side (just my opinion). Some are cute like this one:

I know how to crochet, but not this well. I only wish I could make this. It's red, which is a color that looks great on me and there's a bow. I love bows. They can pretty much make anything look cute without making it look too young.

Speaking of bows, here are a few more berets that I saw and thought looked really cute.

Basically any beret with a bow would make me happy.

Jack frost doesn't just nip at your nose. He also likes ears. Yup, the next item on my list is a pair of earmuffs. People would like to believe that they are old fashioned and out of style, but I say no way! I love trapper hats as much as the next person (I love my purple and black one that I got for Christmas last year), but sometimes I want my ears to be warm without having to wear too much bulk on my my head. While google-ing (most likely not an actual verb, but it is in my mind) cute earmuffs, I came across these lovelies.

These are my favorite out of the thousands out there and some of the most expensive.

These babies are priced at a whopping $878! It's the bejeweled headband along with being made of 80% fox fur. Who knew I, who loves my $5 Old Navy tees, would have such expensive taste? As much as I am in love with these, I think I'll stick to faux fur. I am an animal lover after all.

These are little more within my price range at $32.

I like these gray ones too.

These ones are borderline childish. They resemble Mickey Mouse, but then again you're never too old for anything Disney. So I still like them...and they have a bow. I also really like the lace on the headband part.

If only I could manage to find a pea coat that actually fits me (it's a daunting task I tell you) and get some brown boots.

Loving the red.

I like this one too. Even a plain black one would be nice to have.

Boots. I love these.

I have a slight crush on these ones too.

If I had any of these items, I would ready and more than happy to tackle the fall and winter months.
